The following examples were provided by our licensors. The selected projects mentioned have been remediated in various countries in recent years. *)

EXAMPLE APPLE FARM (MEXICO)


The apple orchard was treated for 3 years. During this time, the yield increased per tree by 50%.


The cost of treatment was about 20% of the additional revenue.
Apples were larger, tasted better, and had a longer shelf life.
In addition, water (~ -25%) and pesticide (~ -40%) use were significantly reduced.

EXAMPLE PLANTS AND COFFEE RUST


Plant rust damages plants in a short time, significantly reduces the harvest, and is costly to remediate. In South America, plant rust has been successfully controlled in a short time.


The long-term and sustainable effect makes it more difficult for new infections to spread, increases crop yields and improves crop quality. In addition to the cure, the use of fertilizers or pesticides may become almost unnecessary in the future.

EXAMPLES CULTIVATION


Some examples showing the broad agricultural use of our licensed Technologies:


  • A farmer used EBD for 3 complete harvest cycles on the same plot to grow watermelons, lettuce, and broccoli without using natural or chemical-based pesticides.
  • An increase in beneficial insects and a decline in pests was observed in crops treated with EBD compared to crops without EBD.
  • EBD were installed in one of several tomato greenhouses to compare their development. Irrigation, fertilization, and treatment were applied uniformly in each of the greenhouses. Upon harvesting, greater growth and uniformity of plants and fruits was observed in the greenhouse where EBD were installed compared to the other greenhouses without EBD.
  • EBD were installed in a number of greenhouses where green bell peppers are grown. The plants and fruits displayed increased vitality and a larger amount of peppers per plant were observed compared to other greenhouses in the region without EBD.
  • EBD were installed in one half of a carnation greenhouse. It was observed that red spider mites were hardly present there, while infestations occurred in the other half of the same greenhouse where EBD were not installed. The farmer then preemptively treated the EBD zone with pesticides, while applying twice the amount of pesticides in the control zone. In addition, carnations in the EBD zone were more uniform and developed earlier than compared to the flowers in the zone without EBD.
  • Five months after the installation of EBD, potatoes were ready to be harvested. Both technical results and visual observations in the field were optimistic and positive. Harvesting was done by hand, which allowed more detailed and accurate observations to be made. The product quality and quantity of potatoes harvested in the EBD area were better than those harvested in the control area.
  • In a Turnip field EBD were installed in December 2019 and the visual results during this period were surprising. The turnips from the EBD area were firmer, had larger flowers, better plant quality with fewer weeds than the turnips from the control area. Fertilizers were also needed in the control plot as well as weed killers due to the high concentration of ivy and other weeds.
  • Improvements were observed in EBD treated soils in terms of better crumb structure, reduction in salinity, increase in organic carbon content etc., compared to soils in areas without EBD. Further studies are still being conducted on these aspects.
